From Gold to Platinum: Our Journey in Environmental Stewardship

Together with our partner MacLab Tasman, we are thrilled to announce significant milestones in our commitment to environmental sustainability.
As part of the A+ New Zealand Sustainable Aquaculture Program, we received an exceptionally high pass mark of 97% from our most recent audit from membership with the program.

Separately, for our MFA Environmental Accreditation Program membership, we achieved the prestigious “Platinum” status rating. This accomplishment marks a significant advancement from our previous “Gold” status, which we obtained in 2021.

Both of these achievements demonstrate our ongoing dedication to environmental excellence. The stringent criteria for this recognition make it a truly exceptional achievement. This milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our remarkable team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to join their team. Based in Nelson, the H&S + Office Administrator is a varied and interesting role within an inclusive and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • H&S Administration – Leading, promoting and reinforcing the culture of best practice in the management of H&S you will be involved in managing the H&S system, undertaking risk assessments, ensuring induction processes for employees and contractors, overseeing training, co-ordination of the H&S Committee, and preparation of reports.
  • Office Administration – This includes maintenance of electronic records for inwards stock, manufacturing, and dispatch of finished goods, maintaining the company vehicle register, reception duties, organising staff training, and general office management.
  • Executive Support - Preparation of documents, reports and meeting minutes for the CFO and COO, and other secretarial services as required.

 

MacLab is looking for a skilled and self-motivated office administrator. You will be highly organised, proficient in Microsoft Office and be enthusiastic in supporting the business to achieve its goals.
